Brief description 

The construction of the new main train station in Berlin lead to numerous projects of surrounding facilities and railway installations (Total 20 bil. DM).

For these construction projects in the railway hub of berlin, logistical concepts for the supply and waste disposal of the sites were established. Hereby, numerous sites had to be coordinated and optimized in a parallel and holistic way.

Among solutions for transportation by trucks and ships, the logistical concepts were focused on train-bound logistics.

The logistical planning was conceptualized and implemented by means of a central construction logistics organization in close cooperation with the organizational structure of the German Railway.
